This weekend I realized that I needed brown sugar for a recipe (teriyaki sauce) and decided to be a little more creative than usual and make some brown sugar. I found that it added more flavor to the recipe and in the long run it's cheaper too. Well, if you need some brown sugar try this recipe (you should still try it even you're not desperate).
Brown Sugar

1 cup cane sugar
1 Tbsp Molasses (2 Tbsp for dark brown sugar)
Mix the sugar and molasses together until all the sugar crystals are coated. Yep, it's that easy.
In the first stages it will be clumpy, but don't despair! Just keep mixing.
