MIA

I have been experiencing a nagging, guilty feeling the past few weeks. I think it may be because I've only been posting on the blog about once a week. When I started this blog I was determined to post 2-3 times per week, but lately I have been struggling.

One reason is the season; It gets dark around 5 pm, which is when Aaron and I get home from work/school, and this makes it impossible to get any decent photos.
Also, most of my time has been spent organizing and pruning through our accumulated junk, and then buying more stuff for our future family member. We have a busy spring ahead of us.

I just wanted to write a post to explain why I will be missing in action for the next two months. Once we are settled into our apartment in Seattle I will have PLENTY of time to post pictures of our adventures, try out new recipes, and share some more new mom stuff. But, for now, posting once a week will have to suffice :)

Here is our agenda for the next 3 months:
  • April 25: Graduation and move out of Orem apt (we rented it out for the summer).
  • April 26-May 4: Road trip to Vegas and Southern Utah. We bought passes that will get us into every National Park in the country, so we'll be visiting all the parks in that area (Moab, Zions, etc.).
  • May 5-11: Stay with my parents.
  • May 12-18: Stay with Aaron's Parents.
  • May 19-22: Road trip to Redwood Forest and Crater Lake, and then up the Oregon Coast toward our final Destination: Seattle. We're going to get the most out of our passes if it kills us, and at 8 months pregnant it just might.
  • May 22-24: Visit Aaron's sister in Portland and then drive up to Washington for a girls weekend with the rest of Aaron's female family members.
  • May 25: Move into our 400 sq ft "cottage" in the Northgate, Seattle area.
I'm excited to start a new column today: Get Out of The House! Today's first idea and plan-- Winter Camping at National Parks :) (Print by Ello There at Etsy)
