Seven Months

The past month Sawyer's personality has really began to come out!

He has learned how to sit up, but refuses to crawl. He has absolutely no interest in crawling, but he does want to walk very bad.

He refuses to be spoon fed. We tried feeding him some applesauce but he just spit it out.

We are still doing baby led weaning, but with a little bit of spoon feeding every once in a while. He will eat anything we put in front of him, as long as he is the one to put it in his mouth.

He loves eating avocados right out of the skin.

He got an ear infection that wouldn't heal with my hippie methods, so we had to give him amoxicillin, and found out that Sawyer is allergic to amoxicillin.

He still loves to be swaddled when he sleeps, but he can no longer sleep in his cradle because he's too big. Since we have no room in our apartment for a crib, he now sleeps with us 100% of the night. Which we are actually enjoying because we (all three of us) cuddle and read books at night, and then when we wake up we cuddle some more.

He absolutely loves other babies. I'm not exaggerating. He spends all of church flirting with the baby girl behind us. I take him to an infant massage class at the library and he loves to touch the baby girls' hair. He even kisses their hands (it's actually more like sucking on their hands). His face lights up every time he sees another baby. 

We love him so darn much.
