"I was just doing what you told me to do"

That's what Aaron said when I got home to doors and windows wide open and the remnants of a chemical smoke seeping out of every crevice.

Earlier that day I had asked Aaron to make some quick yeast bread (he said that he made it all the time on his mission) to go along with our soup. He said that he put the dough in a plastic bowl and then set it in the warm oven. He took all the precautionary actions including setting a timer to remind him to turn on the oven when it was done rising.

If only he had remembered that the dough was still in the plastic bowl...

It took a lot of elbow grease and 2 oven-cleaning cycles, but he finally got the oven back to normal!
And I got a new stainless-steel bowl :)
